Industry and Technology Minister Mustafa Varank stated that they announced a new support program, the content of which was determined as a result of wide-ranging analyzes and evaluations, and said, "As the Agency, we will cover the financing cost of the loans to be used by our industrialists in the sectors determined with this support program with a total budget of 50 million TL." said.

Minister Varank made the official opening of the new service building of Karacadağ Development Agency by cutting a ribbon in Diyarbakır, where he came for the International Diyarbakır Zerzevan Sky Observation Event. 562 MILLION LIRA RESOURCES FOR 198 PROJECTS

Noting that Karacadağ Development Agency has transferred 562 million liras to 198 projects from public, private sector and non-governmental organizations in Diyarbakır, Varank said, “Today, we are announcing a new support program whose content is determined as a result of extensive analysis and evaluations. As the Agency, we will cover the financing cost of the loans to be used by our industrialists in the sectors determined by this support program with a total budget of 50 million TL. Thanks to this program, which will be implemented in cooperation with Vakıf Katılım AŞ and our Agency, we will remove the financial burden from our businesses and direct more resources to investment. In this way, we aim to create a serious loan volume.” he said.

ECONOMY REFORM PROGRAM

Minister Varank said, “We are also working on a new financing model for the 5th and 6th Region investments within the scope of the Economy Reform Program, and we will announce it with our Ministry of Treasury and Finance soon. I invite all our industrialists who meet the conditions to benefit from this program.” used his statements.

SUPPORT 2 MORE PROJECTS

Stating that Karacadağ Development Agency has provided 6 million liras to 8,6 projects from Diyarbakır within the scope of SOGEP, Varank said, “I would like to share with you the good news that 2 new projects deserve to be supported this year. We will support Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality's Break House Project for Individuals with Special Needs and Ergani Municipality's Women's Complex Projects. The total budget of these two projects is approximately 4 million liras.” said.

PREPARATIONS COMPLETED

Mentioning the Diyarbakir Logistics Center project, which will carry the province's potential in the logistics sector forward, he said, “All preparations have been completed for this project, whose entire processes are coordinated by our Karacadag Development Agency. We anticipate that this project, which will make Diyarbakir the distribution hub of the region, will create employment for 1,2 people when this project, worth approximately 5 billion liras, is completed. The tender for this project, which is planned to be the largest Logistics Center in Turkey, will be held on October 400. I invite our experienced investors in the logistics sector to participate in this tender and to support this project, which is Diyarbakir's dream.” he said.

PROTOCOL SIGNED

After the speeches, a protocol was signed between Vakıf Katılım AŞ and Karacadağ Development Agency for the allocation of loans to the investors whose applications are eligible for the Financial Support Program for Strategic Manufacturing Sectors.
