Thus, it was recorded that the capital city of Denmark, Copenhagen, took the first place, while the city of Toronto from Canada took the second place and Singapore took the third place. In the evaluation, where health, digital, infrastructure, personal and environmental security categories are included separately, Istanbul was ranked 37th. In addition, while 60 big cities were included in the research, it was determined that 76 different indicators were taken as the basis.

Media monitoring agency Ajans Press examined the number of news reflected in the press about the cities and countries that are the subject of the research. According to the information compiled by Ajans Press from the digital press archive, it was determined that 258 thousand 422 news related to Istanbul were reflected in the press this year. Denmark, which is at the top of the list, was on the agenda with 8 thousand 35 press news in our country, while Canada made its name in 26 thousand 947 and Singapore 3 thousand 936 news articles. Immigration policy, Euro 2020, tourism and Covid 19 measures were among the most talked about topics related to these countries and cities.
