30 Years of Opel Astra: bestseller in the compact class and brand face of Opel

The new Opel Astra is getting ready to hit the road with its sixth generation, developing and renewing itself day by day with the talents it received from its pioneer Kadett. The new Opel Astra has been redesigned with the brand's new design approach and is Opel's new brand face. The model, which is freed from unnecessary elements, displays a more dynamic appearance than ever with its transparent and taut surfaces and Opel Visor design. The new Astra offers technologies that were previously only available in more expensive vehicles in the upper segment to compact class customers. For example, the 6th generation Opel Astra brings its adaptive Intelli-Lux LED® Pixel Headlight technology to its customers. This innovative headlight system, transferred from Opel's flagship Insignia to this model, leads the compact and middle class with its 168 LED cells.

A time jump towards the future draws attention in the interior of the new generation Astra. With the fully digital Pure Panel, analog displays become a thing of the past. Through the new man-machine interface with innovative and modern graphics, it gives users a pure and more intuitive experience. In addition, thanks to the extra-large touchscreens, the new Astra can be used intuitively, just like a smartphone.
