Among the 45 films that applied to the National Feature Film Competition of the festival, chaired by Adana Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Zeydan Karalar, 10 works will appear before the jury for the Golden Boll Awards.
At the 13th International Adana Golden Boll Film Festival to be held between 19-28 September; "One More Breath" by Nisan Dağ, "Cemil Show" by Barış Sarhan, "Dermansız" by Hakkı Kurtuluş and Melik Saraçoğlu, "Fuad" by Erdal Rahmi Hanay, "Hero in Me" by Sinan Sertel, Erkan Tahhuşoğlu 's "Corridor", Muhammet Çakıral's "Navy Blue Night", Tufan Taştan's "You, I am Lenin", Ahmet Necdet Çupur's "Naughty Children", Mehmet Ali Konar's "Zin ve Ali's Story" There will be excitement for the Golden Boll awards.
WORLD AND TURKEY PREMIERES IN ADANA
Among the films that will compete for the Golden Boll; "Dermansız" directed by Hakkı Kurtuluş and Melik Saracoğlu and "Fuad" directed by Erdal Rahmi Hanay will meet the Adana audience with their world premiere. Other films that will make their world premieres within the scope of the competition are; "The Hero in Me" directed by Sinan Sertel, "Koridor" directed by Erkan Tahhuşoğlu and "Navy Blue Night" directed by Muhammet Çakıral.
One of the finalists of the competition, Nisan Dağ's second film “One Breath More” had its world premiere at the 24th Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival. Barış Sarhan's first feature film, "Cemil Show", is one of the films that will compete for the Golden Boll. The first feature film of director Tufan Taştan, “You, I am Lenin”, appeared before the audience for the first time at the 43rd Moscow Film Festival. Ahmet Necdet Çupur's first feature film “Naughty Children” documentary received the “Special Jury Award” at 2021 Visions du Reel, where it premiered. The documentary will be screened in Adana for the first time in Turkey. The last nominee for the Golden Boll awards is “The Story of Zin and Ali,” directed by Mehmet Ali Konar.
Films at the 28th International Adana Golden Boll Film Festival this year; It will compete in a total of 4 categories: "National Feature Film Competition", "International Short Film Competition", "National Student Short Film Competition" and "Adana Short Film Competition". The "Golden Boll Awards", eagerly awaited by moviegoers, will find their owners with a ceremony to be held on Saturday, September 18, 2021.
