With the bridge crossing in Gölcük Yüzbaşılar region, which Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality implemented in the past years to streamline the traffic flow in the main arteries in the city, vehicle traffic became fluid and transitive. Traffic in the district breathed a sigh of relief with the removal of traffic lights on the D-130 Highway and the side roads added to the crossroads.
PASSENGER AND LOGISTICS TRANSPORT
D-130 Highway, which is one of the important routes of intercity passenger and logistics transportation, was built in Gölcük Yüzbaşılar region and put into service with the bridge, main road and junction roads, with a length of 2 thousand 800 meters. The arms of the crossroads are 7 to 8 and a half meters wide, and the main road is 20 meters wide. The 8-span bridge, which is 190 meters long, serves as 2 x 2 lanes. Access to Gölcük New State Hospital, which is under construction, has also become easier with the side roads built to the intersection.
