The Best Drone Pilots Will Compete in the World Drone Cup to be Organized by STM

The world's best drone race, World Drone Cup (WDC), under the leadership of STM, one of the pioneers of the defense industry, will take place at TEKNOFEST Istanbul, which will be held at Istanbul Atatürk Airport on September 21-26, 2021. Drone pilots, who will compete on challenging tracks specially prepared for them, will compete with the drones they design and assemble themselves.

WDC will bring together the world's best drone racers in Istanbul and will host 22 competitors from 32 different countries, from Mexico to Russia, from Germany to the USA.

The winner of the competition will receive 30 thousand TL, the second 20 thousand TL and the third 10 thousand TL. The fight, which will start on Wednesday, September 23, 2021, will end with the trophy ceremony on Sunday, September 26, 2021.

Breaths Held for the Grand Final of the Turkish Drone Championship!

The drone pilots who will compete on behalf of Turkey at WDC will be determined in the final of the Turkey Drone Championship (TDS), which will be held within the scope of TEKNOFEST on September 21-22, 2021. At the end of the grand final, which will be held among 16 Turkish competitors who made it to the finals by competing in the challenging stages held in Elazig Harput Castle and Izmir Bergama throughout the year, 4 names will represent Turkey at WDC.

In addition, a surprise will be waiting for the visitors of the competition at the STM booth. Every visitor who wishes will be able to experience a drone pilot with the "Survivor Drone", a one-to-one simulation of WDC.

In addition to offering young people the opportunity to experience drone racing on challenging tracks with virtual reality glasses, the STM booth, which will welcome its visitors in an area of ​​5 thousand square meters at TEKNOFEST, will have an unforgettable fair experience with competitions and surprise gifts.
