According to the decision published in the Official Gazette with the signature of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, support payments will be made to farmers who experience a yield loss of 30 percent or more due to drought.
The support payment will be made to the farmers who experience a yield loss of 30% or more in the agricultural basins determined by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry in wheat, barley, rye, oat, triticale, chickpea and lentil products produced in dry conditions due to insufficient rainfall.
According to the decision, the amount of support will be between 30-100 TL per decare, according to the yield loss rates.
Yield loss rates in products that will benefit from the support; It will be determined by the Provincial/District Arbitration Commissions, taking into account meteorological data, TARSİM records and Provincial/District Damage Assessment Commissions records.
