Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality continues its special transportation support service to the citizens with the PCR Test, which it started in order to reduce the risk of contamination.
Stating that they aim to prevent citizens from using public transportation after the test and reduce the risk of transmission, Metropolitan Municipality officials pointed out that with the increase in the number of cases, the number of passengers transported by buses also increased. They stated that 3724 citizens, who have been tested since the first day of service but do not have a vehicle, have been provided with transportation support to the closest point to their homes by buses. Pointing out that they are waiting for private buses in front of the City Hospital, Yunus Emre State Hospital and ESOGÜ Faculty of Medicine, which are the hospitals where the covid-19 test density is experienced the most, and that a maximum of 13 passengers are carried in the special compartments of the vehicles, the authorities stated that the vehicles are disinfected by special teams after each trip.
