Case Study from TCDD Transportation Adana Regional Staff

Hasan Pezük, General Manager of TCDD Taşımacılık AŞ, visited Adana Regional Directorate on September 1 and received information about the works.

Pezük examined the exemplary works of TCDD Transportation Adana Regional Directorate staff on the effective and efficient use of corporate resources.

Pezuk thanked the Adana Regional staff who repaired the heavily damaged locomotive and crane with the equipment and supports they had and put them back into service, and stated that the most important feature of the 165-year-old railway culture is that it produces solutions under all conditions.

Pezük stated that he is very proud of the fact that 1 locomotive and 1 crane waiting idle in the warehouse have been restored to the Organization with the necessary support from TCDD Transportation Adana Regional Directorate staff and the local market, and congratulated and thanked everyone who contributed to this exemplary work.

Stating that the necessary studies and tests were carried out successfully in a period of about 3 months with the technical staff and worker personnel of Adana Locomotive Workshop Directorate and İskenderun Locomotive Maintenance Workshop Chief, Pezük said, “The effective and efficient use of our country's resources is the most important thing for my railroad friend at all levels. should be one of its key responsibilities. This exemplary behavior has been the best example of this. On the other hand, in order for our vehicle fleet to serve in a healthy manner, it is of great importance to perform the necessary maintenance on time and to reduce the damage rates by following the rules determined during their use. Therefore, we expect everyone's support in internalizing the safety culture and complying with the determined rules.”
