Rail dismantling started within the scope of Sirkeci - Kazlıçeşme Urban Transportation and Recreation Project, where an introductory meeting was held recently.
The first step was taken in the Kazlıçeşme – Sirkeci Urban Transportation and Recreation Project, which will serve within the borders of Fatih. In the project implemented by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure together with Fatih Municipality and in which 8 stations, including Sirkeci-Cankurtaran-Kumkapı-Yenikapı-Cerrahpaşa-Kocamustafapaşa-Yedikule-Kazlıçeşme, are located within the borders of Fatih, rail dismantling has started. When the rail systems are completed and the project becomes active; great economic gains will be achieved in issues that directly affect the environment such as fuel, carbon emissions and time.
