Quarantine Decision for Vaccinated Contacts

According to the latest decision taken by the Ministry of Health, the HES code of fully vaccinated contacts will not be considered risky for the first 5 days; If the PCR test is negative on the fifth day, isolation will not be performed.

A change was made in the contact tracking algorithm in the 'Covid-19 Contact Follow-up, Outbreak Management, Home Patient Monitoring and Filiation Guide' prepared by the Ministry of Health.

The most important change was made in the isolation of fully vaccinated contacts. Accordingly, the HES code of a citizen who has been in contact with a Covid-14 patient 19 days after the second dose of vaccine will not be considered risky for the first 5 days. The vaccinated and contacted citizen will give a PCR test on the 5th day, and if the result is negative, isolation will not be applied.
