Fish consumption should increase
Mehmet Şahin Çakan, President of the Fishermen Businessmen Association, also wished the new season to be beneficial and said, “Personal fish consumption in Turkey during the pandemic period in 2020 was quite low compared to many countries. We need to increase the consumption of healthy, clean, high protein fish. It is our responsibility to do that," he said.
