Natural gas conversion works of schools in 81 provinces were accelerated. In the first week of September, the demands of all provinces were met, and an appropriation of 81 million lira was sent to 372 provinces for natural gas conversion. Stating that there is no natural gas conversion request pending in the Ministry as of now, Minister of National Education Mahmut Özer said, "We will complete the work on this issue in all provinces with natural gas access in the first six months of 2022." said.
In the first 2021 months of 8, 169 million lira was sent to the provinces for natural gas conversion. In the first week of September, all demands were met and an appropriation of 81 million lira was sent for natural gas conversion to 372 provinces.
Making an assessment about the natural gas conversion works of schools, Minister of National Education Mahmut Özer said: “As the Ministry, we want to complete the natural gas conversion of our schools. For this purpose, we quickly evaluated the demands of our provinces and met all the demands of our 81 provinces and sent an appropriation of 372 million liras to our provinces. As of now, there is not a single natural gas conversion request pending in our Ministry. In the first six months of 2022, we will complete the work on this issue in all provinces with natural gas access.”
