For the second time this year, 85 teams that made it to the finals of the 'Environment and Energy Technologies Competition', sponsored by SANKO Holding, one of the main stakeholders of TEKNOFEST, will compete for the first place by making presentations in front of the jury for six days.
Attending the opening ceremony of TEKNOFEST 2021 held at Istanbul Atatürk Airport, SANKO Holding Chairman of the Board Adil Sani Konukoğlu examined the projects and received information from the students.
YOUTH SHOULD NOT STOP FIGHTING
Expressing that valuable projects were exhibited during Turkey's National Technology Move journey, Konukoğlu said, "We are proud of our genes that develop projects to contribute to the future of our country and the world."
Pointing out that Turkey has made great strides in many areas recently, Konukoğlu said:
“TEKNOFEST, which has proven itself all over the world and attracts attention by the citizens of foreign countries, is an organization of great importance for our country in terms of encouraging and guiding our youth. Organizing TEKNOFEST in our country is a great opportunity for our country and our youth.
Our young people, who are the guarantee of our future, must follow TEKNOFEST closely. TEKNOFEST, our youth; It is an important achievement in terms of showing the whole world what Turkish youth can do. They should never stop fighting and working.”

ENVIRONMENTAL AND ENERGY TECHNOLOGIES COMPETITION
SANKO Holding is one of the main stakeholders of TEKNOFEST, which aims to raise awareness of technology and science in the society as a whole, and to increase Turkey's human resources trained in the fields of science and engineering, and undertakes the execution of the 'Environmental and Energy Technologies Competition'.
Engineers working within SANKO Holding provided mentorship support to the students participating in the Environment and Energy Technologies Competition and carried out the evaluation processes of the projects with academicians.
As a result of the evaluations; 2 of the 462 applications made to the 'Environment and Energy Technologies Competition' won the right to compete in the final.
The purpose of the competition; To provide the sharing of knowledge and experience by revealing energy efficient and environmentally sensitive application projects and technologies applied by industrial enterprises, to increase energy efficiency in the industrial field in general.
It is the creation of an energy efficiency culture in the society, the development of innovative and technological ideas by increasing awareness on efficiency and environmental issues. TEKNOFEST 2021, held at Istanbul Atatürk Airport, will end with the award ceremony to be held on Sunday, September 26, 2021.
