President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made statements regarding the paddy purchase base prices in his Address to the Nation speech after the cabinet meeting.
Stating that they have determined the purchase prices of the Turkish Grain Board for the rice harvest, Erdoğan said, “Accordingly, a purchase price of 5 thousand 500 liras for the baldo variety, 4 thousand 500 liras for the Osmancık variety and 4 thousand liras for the Luna variety will be applied per ton.”
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan also wished that the harvest period and purchase prices would be beneficial to paddy producers.
