The 1915 Çanakkale Bridge, which will connect the European and Asian continents for the first time in the Dardanelles, has come to an end. While all of the mega decking blocks, each 45 meters wide, 48 meters long and weighing 700 tons, that will form the road of the bridge, are placed in place, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu will sign a historic moment tomorrow. Minister Karaismailoğlu, who will come to Çanakkale for the project, which is described as the "necklace of the Çanakkale Strait", will set off on foot from Lapseki on the Asian side and pass to Gallipoli on the European side. Karaismailoğlu, who shared a video about the latest state of the bridge from his social media account, dropped the note "A masterpiece" on it.

The two piers of the bridge, which will take the title of “the world's largest suspension bridge with medium spans”, were planned as 100 meters, making sense of the 2023th anniversary of the foundation of the Republic of Turkey. Tower connections and connection elements will be painted red and white in reference to the Turkish flag. The upper part of the towers, which are 333 meters high, was also built to represent the cannonball that Seyit Onbaşı fired into the barrel during the Çanakkale Wars. The bridge, which has a length of 4 thousand 608 meters, a middle span of 2023 and a side span of 770 meters, will serve with 2×3 lanes. 2 approach viaducts, 4 reinforced concrete viaducts, 10 underpass bridges, 33 overpass bridges, 6 bridges, 43 underpasses, 115 culverts, 12 intersection, 4 highway service facilities, 2 maintenance and operation centers, 6 toll collection stations will be built.
