Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu spoke about the 14th Term Collective Bargaining Agreement signed between Türk Telekom and Haber-İş Union. Karaismailoğlu drew attention to the fact that with the collective bargaining agreement covering approximately 10 thousand union member employees, they did not suppress the inflation of the workers.

Türk Telekom Senior Manager Ümit Önal announced that with the new collective bargaining agreement covering 10 thousand union members, the lowest monthly bare wage was determined as 4 thousand 200 TL and from the second year of the agreement, all union member employees will be paid 1000 TL Eid aid for Ramadan and Sacrifice holidays. .

According to the new contract, after the improvement to be made in the wages of unionized employees in the company, an increase of 6 lira for the first 850-month period covering this year, 6 lira for the second 450-month period, and 5.5 percent for the third and fourth six-month periods will be made.

With the agreement, it was also decided to add the amount corresponding to the exceeding part to the wages in case the inflation exceeds 5.5 percent in the third and fourth six-month periods.

Speaking at the ceremony, Karaismailoğlu emphasized the labor of the workers and continued as follows:

“We are working hard with the aim of providing a complete infrastructure to improve Turkey's social and economic ties and to be among the 10 largest economies in the world. I would like to emphasize that we put the sweat of our fellow workers, who are the biggest contributors in these efforts, above everything else.”

Underlining that he is pleased with the conclusion of the 14th term collective bargaining agreement negotiations, Karaismailoğlu made the following assessments:

As our President frequently expresses this growth; It is an important indicator for our progress and development based on investment, production, employment and export in the economy.”

Noting that production continues at full speed, Karaismailoğlu said, “Our highways, airports and ports connect the world to Turkey and help our exports to work smoothly. We are taking our steps with big projects to become the logistics power of the world.”

Emphasizing that they fulfill the requirements of being a 'social state' despite the epidemic and economic crises, Karaismailoğlu said that social payments to businesses and workers who were damaged due to the crises continue to increase.

Emphasizing that the wage increase rates in the collective bargaining agreement covering approximately 10 thousand union member employees in Turkey, as well as the improvements and other social rights, they do not crush the employees against inflation, Karaismailoğlu said, "We did not crush our brothers in inflation, but we also improved their situation as much as possible."
