A statement was made from the İBB regarding the claim that the company, which filled illegal water in Şile, supplied water to Hamidiye.
Gendarmerie teams conducting inspections for illegal structures in forested areas in Şile uncovered the illegal water filling facility. Provincial health teams were called to the scene and launched an investigation into the business.
The facility, where samples were taken, was shut down after it was determined that it was operating in a non-compliance with the legislation. Upon the discussions that the owner of the facility supplied water to Hamidiye, a subsidiary of IMM, a statement was made by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM).
In the statement made; IMM subsidiary HAMİDİYE has supplied spring water for 12 months from the company, which is publicly mentioned and has a permit. During this period, the Ministry of Health and Istanbul Governorate periodically checked whether appropriate production was made.
Recently, in the press and social media, "Kemer Su İşletmeleri Sanayi ve Ticaret Ltd.Şti." There have been false news and comments regarding the business relationship between HAMİDİYE AŞ, a subsidiary of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB).
HAMİDİYE AŞ has outsourced spring water supply from the aforementioned company to meet the demands between 01.07.2020 and 01.07.2021.
Before producing water in accordance with the regulation, the company obtained the “Spring Water Production Permit” from the Istanbul Governorship Provincial Health Directorate as stated in the attached document.
Whether appropriate production is made or not, as stated in the attached documents, every 3 months by the Istanbul Governorship Provincial Health Directorate; It was checked once a year by the Ministry of Health. Compliance reports have been received. During the contract period, inspections were carried out completely until 25/06/2021.
The contract period for the purchase of water from the company ended on 01.07.2021. HAMİDİYE AŞ has not purchased water from the aforementioned company after this date.
