Family and Social Services Minister Derya Yanık announced that home care assistance payments made to provide economic support to disabled citizens in need of care with their families will be deposited into accounts as of today.
Minister Yanık emphasized that they developed policies for disabled citizens in line with their family-oriented social service vision. Burns said, “One of our primary goals is to support our disabled citizens in need of care with their families. We provide care services in institutions to our disabled citizens who cannot live on their own and cannot be cared for with their families. We support disabled people living with their families with service models such as day care and home care assistance. With home care assistance, we also support our citizens who have a severely disabled relative who needs care and cannot work because they take care of them.”
“Increased to 1.797 TL”
Minister Yanık reminded that for the July-December 2021 period, home care assistance was increased from 1.657,86 TL to 1.797,97 TL per month, and stated that "home care assistance" was provided to 530 thousand citizens who took care of their disabled relatives in need of care.
“968,2 million TL will be paid”
Minister Yanık stated that Home Care Assistance payments will be deposited into accounts as of today and said, “We are depositing 968,2 million TL Home Care Assistance payments into accounts as of today. I wish the payments will be beneficial to all disabled citizens," he said.
