As a result of the overturning of the bus in Balıkesir, 14 people died and 18 were injured.
In the statement made by Balıkesir Governorship, the following information was given about the accident: “Unfortunately, 08.08.2021 of our citizens were killed at the accident scene in a traffic accident that occurred as a result of a passenger bus traveling towards Edremit on the Balıkesir OSB Ring Road at around 04.40 on Sunday, 11. 3 of our citizens died in the hospital, and 14 of our citizens were injured.
Our 112 emergency response teams and traffic units reached the scene of the accident in a very short time and ensured that all of our injured citizens were transferred to 5 different hospitals in Balıkesir, and their treatment continues.”
On the other hand, Balıkesir Governor Hasan Şıldak conducted an investigation at the site of the traffic accident and received information from the relevant people.
Governor Şıldak also visited the wounded who were being treated in hospitals.
