In the final match of the three-day Women's Big Women's Water Polo Turkish Cup series held at the Celal Atik Sports Complex Swimming Pool, İzmir Metropolitan Belediyespor, which faced the Middle East Technical University (METU), won the match with a score of 24-2 and became the champion. In the water polo branch that opened last season, the club managed to place its first important trophy in its museum with this organization. While METU was the second, Adana Kurtuluş, who defeated Yeşilyurt with a score of 12-10, took the third place in the cup.
The cups and medals were presented to the teams by Süreyya Eyüpoğulları, Member of the Board of the Water Polo Federation, Hakan Orhunbilge, Head of the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Youth and Sports Department, Ersan Odaman, the President of the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Youth and Sports Club, and Prof. Dr. Celal Reha Alpar gave it.

261 goals were scored in the Big Women's Water Polo Turkish Cup. İzmir Metropolitan Municipality Youth and Sports Club President Ersan Odaman announced that they will plant 2240 saplings in memory of the trophy as part of the Ormanİzmir campaign. 2240 saplings will represent the number of goals scored and the year the club was founded.
