Yunus Ay, Deputy Chairman of the Transport and Railways Employees Rights Union, made a statement about the Ankara Sivas High Speed Train line.

In his statement, the month included the following statements; “While the standard fare of the 623 km long Istanbul-Ankara high-speed train line is 98 TL, the ticket price of the 393 km Ankara-Sivas line is expected to be 58 TL.

The high-speed train will depart from Sivas in the form of 8 expeditions, estimated at 19 in the morning and at 2 in the evening. It is planned to return from Ankara around 7 am and 18 pm and it will take 3 and a half hours for now.

The line will be provided by the old line, which is fast until Kırıkkale and then the conventional line, or by bus since the YHT line between Kırıkkale and Ankara has not been completed.

The high-speed train, which will be opened on September 4, 2021, will reach Sivas at 9 stations after Ankara, after Elmadağ, Kırıkkale, Yerköy, Yozgat, Sorgun, Akdağmadeni, Yıldızeli.

The fact that the high-speed train passing through these areas will add both commercial and socio-cultural value to the settlements will revive tourism and add value to the country's economy as the promotion of these provinces becomes more effective.

As the business capability of the companies increases, the sub-industry organizations that can create a workforce that supports production will play an important role in the development of these provinces.

In his speech in Sivas in 2019, our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan ordered the acceleration of YHT line works.

We would like to thank our President, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, Railway employees and workers.”
