Ankara Metropolitan Municipality took action for the construction of the "Local Tourism District Bus Station" in order to collect the district buses in one center and facilitate the transportation of the citizens. A tender will be held on September 5, 1 for the district bus station to be built on the land owned by the Metropolitan Municipality at Gazi Mahallesi Fatih Sultan Mehmet Boulevard (FSM) No: 9/2021. With the completion of the district bus station, the Metropolitan Municipality aims to reduce the traffic density in the city center.

The new district bus station, which will be tendered on September 9, 2021, will be built on Gazi Mahallesi Fatih Sultan Mehmet Boulevard.

Traffic density will decrease thanks to a single center

Polatlı and Şereflikoçhisar buses, which are private transportation vehicles serving Ankara's districts, continue to use AŞTİ, while Kızılcahamam and Kahramankazan buses continue to use Etlik Old Garages.

The Metropolitan Municipality, which prepared a project after the buses serving other outer districts caused traffic congestion by loading and unloading on the streets and streets in various parts of the city, pressed the button for the construction of the new district bus station in order to solve this problem.

After the construction of the new district bus station with its modern and comfortable design is completed, both transportation tradesmen and citizens who will travel to the districts will now be able to travel more comfortably from a single center.
