Work Continues in Kocaeli Children's Traffic Education Park

Work continues intensively in the Children's Traffic Education Park, which was established by the Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality in the area next to the Izmit South Terminal. Balamir Gündoğdu, Secretary General of the Metropolitan Municipality, who examined the Park, which was built on an area of ​​​​17 thousand 473 square meters, announced that the park will be completed and put into service in a short time. Deputy Secretary General Mustafa Altay, Head of Science Affairs Department Ayşegül Yalçınkaya, Head of Parks and Gardens Department Cenan Turan, Head of Transportation Department Ahmet Çelebi and technical staff attended Gündoğdu in the examination.

FOR CHILDREN BETWEEN 7-12 YEARS

Balamir Gündoğdu, Secretary General of Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality, who received information about the works from the heads of departments, emphasized that the project was planned in a way that children aged 6-500 can receive traffic education with a driving track of 7 thousand 12 square meters. FOUR DEPARTMENTS ARE WORKING IN COORDINARY

In the project, where four departments work in coordination, the Department of Science Affairs completed the manufacture of 19 grilles and 16 chimneys. Producing 3.088 tons of plantmix and 1.295 tons of binder, Fen Works also produced 2.349 m of andesite borders and 1.634 m2 of stamped concrete area. While approximately 5 tons of reinforced concrete will be placed with mesh steel, 900 tons of abrasion asphalt will be produced in the near future.

ADMINISTRATIVE BUILDING OF 294 SQUARE METER IS CONSTRUCTED

The Department of Parks and Gardens has also completed the construction of a 294 square meter educational and administrative building. The park Gardens, which will plant trees and arrange landscaping, will also install the irrigation system while carrying out soil filling, greening and planting works.

SIGNALIZATION AND TRAFFIC SIGNS

Signaling and traffic signs will be placed by the Department of Transportation. Transportation, which will make speed-breaking bumps, will also draw pedestrian crossings and road lines.

IT WILL BE WATCHED WITH 22 CAMERA

The Building Control Department also continues its work uninterruptedly. Yapı Control will complete the infrastructure, excavation, piping and anchoring of 28 lighting poles, while erecting the poles after the concrete is laid. After the poles are erected, 19 cameras, 3 external and 22 internal cameras, will be installed. Infrastructure has been prepared for electrical, internet and telephone internal installations in the warehouse, training and personnel room, sockets, switches and lamps will be installed.
