Mersin Metro, which is one of the vision projects that Mersin Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Vahap Seçer will bring to the city in the field of transportation, has reached the most important stage. On April 13.4, 11, the technical and financial qualification phase of the underground metro construction tender between Mezitli Old Municipality Building and Train Station, consisting of 28 km and 2021 stations, was completed.

As a result of the examinations made by the Metropolitan Municipality Transportation Department Tender Commission, the most advantageous offer was awarded. 3 billion 379 million 404 thousand 875,26 lira with Dillingham Cont. int. Inc + Kiska- Kom İnş. Inc. won the joint venture. The second most advantageous offer in the tender is Doğuş İnş. ve Tic. Inc. and Yapı Merkezi İnş. and San. Inc. was a joint venture.

After this important stage has been completed, the contract for the Mezitli Old Municipality Building-Train Station line will be signed as a result of the required time after the announcement of the decisions as per the legislation, and the groundwork will be laid by delivering the site as soon as possible.

In addition, the Mersin University and University Hospital Tram Line and Mersin City Hospital Level Rail System Line projects, which will be integrated into the Mezitli Old Municipality Building-Train Station line, are expected to be completed as soon as possible.
