Continuing its testing and evaluation activities in all areas of the defense industry, TRTEST will meet a very important need in the field of Unmanned Air Systems Test and Evaluation Center with the Unmanned Air Systems Test and Evaluation Center Project to be established in Kalecik. In the center, the flight capability tests of mini-UAV, multicopter, and swarm UAV projects will be conducted, as well as the tests of devices and software used in R&D studies on UAV detection/detection, classification, deception and prevention.
Ankara Development Agency Support Agreement Signing Ceremony for TRTEST Kalecik Unmanned Aerial Systems Test and Evaluation Center Project was held at the 15th International Defense Industry Fair IDEF. The signing ceremony was attended by President of the Presidency of Defense Industry Prof. Dr. İsmail Demir, TRTEST Chairman of the Board Adem Şahin, Kalecik Mayor Duhan Kalkan and Development Agency General Manager Barış Yeniceri, Ankara Development Agency General Secretary Cahit Çelik, TRTEST General Manager Bilal Aktaş, Teknopark Ankara Board Chairman Hasan Gültekin.
IT WILL BE A MODERN INFRASTRUCTURE FOR THE INDUSTRY
When completed, TRTEST Test and Evaluation Inc. The test center, which will be operated by UAV, will have a modern infrastructure for the developing UAV industry. The Unmanned Aerial Systems Test and Evaluation Center, which will be established on the land allocated to the Presidency of Defense Industries (SSB) in Kalecik, Ankara, will also meet a very important need in this area.
UAVS WILL BE TESTED
TRTEST will carry out its work in the airspace reserved for R&D flights with an average altitude of 7000 feet on this land allocated to it. In this field, under the coordination of TRTEST, it will serve for the tests of devices and software used in the flight capability tests of mini-UAV, multicopter and herd UAV projects, R&D studies on UAV detection/detection, classification, deception and prevention.
INFRASTRUCTURE SUPPORT FROM DEVELOPMENT AGENCY
All infrastructure works needed within the scope of TRTEST Kalecik Unmanned Aerial Systems Test and Evaluation Center Project, which was initiated in partnership with TRTEST, Kalecik Municipality and Teknopark Ankara, will be supported by Ankara Development Agency.
TRTEST was established in partnership with SSB, TSE, TÜBİTAK, TSKGV and STM AŞ in order to carry out the testing and evaluation processes of defense industry products domestically and nationally, not in institutions abroad.
