Sakarya SGK Bridge Interchange Project Has Come To An End

The Metropolitan Municipality has come to an end in the Sakarya Bridge Interchange Project, which will relieve the city traffic. The bridge whose side piers are processed will be completed when the deck is poured. Chairman Yüce said, “Our bridge junction was built in accordance with the regulation, with a height of 4 and a half meters and a length of 32 meters. The final touches are being made, I hope we will put it into service in a short time.”

Sakarya SGK Bridge Interchange project, initiated by Sakarya Metropolitan Municipality to reduce the traffic load of the city, has reached the final stage. The final touches are being put on the bridge junction, which is known as the 'Insurance Junction' in Adapazarı and started to be built at the point where the city traffic is most intense. The teams completed the foot assembly in the bridge section of the project. The bridge, where the molds are set and the iron reinforcements are prepared, will be ready after the deck casting.

The height of the bridge is 4 and a half meters and its length is 32 and a half meters.

The bridge section of the project, where the teams of the Department of Science Affairs worked intensively, was built in accordance with the Highways regulations, with a height of 4 and a half meters, a length of 32 and a half meters and a width of 21 meters. In the construction of the project, Post Tensioning (Tensioning of steel ropes) technique was also used to strengthen the bridge. City traffic will be relieved thanks to this modern project, which will be put into service at the intersection of Adnan Menderes Street and Orhangazi Street, the busiest streets of the city.

Stating that the Köprülü Junction project has exceeded 80 percent and will be put into service in the near future, Mayor Ekrem Yüce said, “We have implemented an important project to relieve the traffic at this point, which is a huge burden in Sakarya's traffic. With Sakarya SGK Köprülü Junction, we will ensure that the traffic flows very easily to our 3 districts. We have prepared a modern welcome point for our guests at this point, which is at the entrance position on arrivals in Sakarya. Our teams have been working very hard on the bridge in recent days. Assemblies have been made, scaffolding has been completed. Right now we are just waiting for the slab casting. We reached over 80% in our project. Hopefully, with the completion of this process, we will soon put the project at the disposal of the people of Sakarya. It's good for our city," he said.
