Following the announcement of the roadmap for face-to-face education, Minister of National Education Mahmut Özer held a meeting with unit chiefs and 81 provincial national education directors. At the meeting, the ongoing preparations for the healthy and safe start of the new academic year were discussed.

Minister of National Education Mahmut Özer met with the directors of the Ministry after the face-to-face education decision was announced to the public. Deputy Ministers Petek Aşkar, Ahmet Emre Bilgili and Sadri Şensoy, heads of relevant units and 81 provincial national education directors attended the meeting.

Minister Özer reminded that full-time face-to-face education will start on September 6, and integration training will be held for pre-school and primary school first-year students on September 1-3, and received information about the latest studies in all provinces one by one.

"My School Clean Certificate" conditions are followed; Özer stated that if there is a classroom, canteen, cafeteria, all kinds of closed areas in the hostel will be disinfected every day and hygiene will be ensured.

“We will never compromise on mask, distance and hygiene rules so that face-to-face education in schools is not disrupted once again. Our students, teachers and other education workers; They will come to school wearing masks.

If our students and staff need a mask inside the school, our school administrations will provide free masks. The entrance and exit of the people other than the institution staff and students will be limited by the school administrations.

Özer stated that the newly established electronic tracking system within the Ministry has also been activated, and in this way, all processes at the provincial, district, institution and school level are monitored instantly.

In addition to the preparations for hygiene conditions, the last preparations in the provinces that have experienced fire and flood disasters recently came to the agenda.

Noting that the repair works of the schools are continuing rapidly, Minister Özer instructed the provincial administrators to complete the preparations until the opening date of the schools.
