Industry and Technology Minister Mustafa Varank visited the industrial sites in Sinop's Ayancık, Kastamonu's Bozkurt and Abana districts, and examined the work done. Minister Varank said that they are working very quickly to get the tradesmen back on their feet with financial support.
Minister Varank made inspections in the areas damaged by the flood after heavy rain on August 11. The first stop of Varank was the Ayancık district of Sinop. Minister Varank, together with Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Fatih Dönmez, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu, examined the Light Alloy Fixed Bridge (HASK), which is in the inventory of the Turkish Armed Forces (TSK), whose installation was completed.
Minister Varank then went to the industrial site affected by the flood disaster. Listening to the problems of the tradesmen here, Minister Varank stated that they are working on supports and said, “We are facing a great disaster in these regions. We are visiting the industrial sites here and in Kastamonu. We are consulting about how we can do them again. Especially here, we will act very quickly to raise the producers and industrial tradesmen. We also have a study on financial support. Hopefully we will get life back on its feet here.” said.
Minister Varank's second stop in the flood-hit region was Kastamonu's Abana and Bozkurt districts. Varank examined the small industrial site affected by the flood and received information about the work done. Listening to the problems of the tradesmen, Minister Varank also met with the citizens who were damaged by the flood and wished "get well soon".
