Applications have started for the Mermaid Women's Sailing Cup, which makes more and more women love sailing with the participation of institutions and individual teams.

The Mermaid Women's Sailing Cup, which is the first sailing race for women in Turkey, continues to reach more and more women every year.

The registration of the 4th Mermaid Women's Sailing Cup, which will be held on Saturday, September 2021, 6, on the Istanbul Caddebostan - Adalar track, under the auspices of the Turkish Sailing Federation and in cooperation with the Istanbul Sailing Club, has begun. The race, which was reduced from 3 days to 1 day last year due to the pandemic, will be held in a single day this year.

The Mermaid Women's Sailing Cup Organizing Committee, consisting of Diana Misim, Arzu Çekirge Paksoy and Serap Gökçebay, expects great interest in the cup this year as well. The aim of the Cup is to combine the passion of sailing with the excitement of racing, to increase women's interest in sailing, to support women's sailing in our country, and to provide an opportunity to train new athletes. In addition, it is aimed to contribute to the human resources and internal communication activities of the institutions by improving the ability of women in business life to be a team, reach the goal, fight against difficult conditions and integrate with nature.

Arçelik A.Ş., Doğuş Group, Mercedes Benz Türk, Borusan Otomotiv, Borusan Holding, Eker, ETİ, Fiba Faktoring, Ford Otosan, Garanti BBVA, Burgan Bank, Garanti Pension, GlaxoSmithKline, Akpa have won the Mermaid Women's Sailing Cup in the past years. Chemicals, MSI Sailing Team, Innova, sahibinden.com, Türk Telekom, Pegasus, Dunapack Packaging, Edenred, TWRE Woman Empowering Women's Platform, Şenpiliç RC Girls Sailing Team, Permolit Team Ladies First, Atak Akademi, Sultans of the Sea, Bahçeşehir University Pupa Corporate and individual women's sailing teams such as Doğuş University, White Angels Sailing Team, Women's Sailing SKD, Girls of Hearts, Alize Women's Sailing Team and AÇEV participated.

The Mermaid Women's Sailing Cup, which also makes a difference with its social responsibility dimension, will support the SocialBen Foundation with a portion of the income to be generated this year.
