After the flood disaster, the campaign to heal the wounds continues. Electricity was delivered to all districts in Kastamonu. The death toll in Kastamonu, Sinop and Bartın increased to 78. The mobile bridge built in Sinop Ayancık was put into service.
In the statement made by AFAD regarding the flood in the Western Black Sea region, it was stated that 62 people in Kastamonu, 15 people in Sinop, 1 person in Bartın lost their lives, and the treatment of 2 people was continued in hospitals.
Electricity was delivered to all districts and villages in Kastamonu, whose lines were damaged.
Investigations into collapsed buildings in Kastamonu continue. The contractor Mehmet Özkan, for whom a detention warrant was issued, was detained in Istanbul Esenyurt.
More than 8 thousand personnel in the disaster area
The state is in the flood zone with all its institutions to erase the traces of the disaster. More than 8 thousand personnel are working in the region with more than a thousand vehicles. While 890 construction machines pave the roads, the works are directed from the mobile coordination trucks.
Crossing over the mobile bridge has begun
In Sinop Ayancık, crossings from the mobile bridge started. The installation of the 40-meter-long mobile bridge, which was built to restore transportation on Ayancık Stream, has been completed. The bridge was opened to the use of pedestrians in the first place.
Aid from the sea continues. 7 construction machines loaded on the landing ship from Kastamonu Abana coast reached Sinop Türkeli.
In Bartın, where Selin hit, the wounds are healed. With the mobile kitchen established by the Turkish Red Crescent, 3 meals a day are served to the victims of the disaster.
The amount reached in the support campaign under the coordination of AFAD exceeded 131 million liras.
