After the fires that broke out at 13 different points in 20 cities in our country, a statement came from the governor's office about the forests in Istanbul.

According to the decision of the Governorship of Istanbul, dated July 30, 2021 and numbered 2021/1, parks, picnic and recreation areas with permission, which are under the supervision and control of the authorized administrations, will be open in our province. Apart from that, entry into the forests is prohibited.

According to this decision, Kemerburgaz City Forest will be open between 30 July 2021 and 31 August 2021 and the planned activities will continue.

IS IT FORBIDDEN TO GO TO KEMERBURGAZ CITY FOREST?

As part of firefighting, a ban on entry to forests was imposed in many provinces. With the statement made by the Governor's Office, while the entrance to the forests is prohibited throughout Istanbul, “except for the licensed parks, picnic and recreation areas and nature parks in the forests and roads in the forest, which are under the supervision and control of the authorized administrations; It is forbidden to take a break, have a picnic, light a fire such as barbecue and samovar.

BARGAIN IS PROHIBITED IN KEMERBURGAZ CITY FOREST

Kemerburgaz Urban Forest stands out as Turkey's largest activity forest. In the forest, where all security measures are taken, there are food and beverage, sports, culture-arts and entertainment activity areas. The Mağlova Aqueduct, the most important work of water architecture in the world, is located within the borders of Kemerburgaz City Forest. As of 29 October 2019, when it was opened in Kemerburgaz City Forest, it is forbidden to light barbecues, fires and cylinders.
