Eskişehir Environmental Protection and Development Association ( ESCEVDER ) will pay a visit to Afyon Kocatepe with its environmental friends and members to celebrate the Victory Day on Monday, August 30th.
In order to celebrate the 30 August Victory Day, which is an official and national holiday celebrated on 1922 August every year to commemorate the Great Offensive, which resulted in victory under the command of Atatürk in Afyon Dumlupınar on 30 August 30, the members of the Environment Association took the bus allocated by the Metropolitan Municipality. He will visit Afyon Kocatepe.
The 30th of August was celebrated for the first time in 1924 as the Victory of the Commander-in-Chief with a ceremony attended by President Atatürk near the Çal Village of Afyon/Dumlupınar.
The Victory of the Commander-in-Chief has been celebrated as Victory Day since 1926. It went down in history as August 1 in the Victory Day Law adopted on April 1926, 30.
Eskişehir Environmental Protection and Development Association (ESCEVDER) went to Afyon Kocatepe to celebrate the Victory Day 2 years ago and showed their love, respect and gratitude to our Ata and his comrades in arms, who saved our country from the enemies, and did not break the tradition this year.
