Diyarbakir Metropolitan Municipality is renovating the Devegeçidi Picnic area on the Elazig road. The Metropolitan Municipality continues its efforts to build and renovate green areas in order to ensure that the people of Diyarbakır have a good time with their families and to create a resting area.
The Department of Parks and Gardens will build picnic and children's playgrounds, viewing terraces and walking paths so that citizens can spend time alone with nature within the scope of the rehabilitation of the Devegeçidi Picnic Area, which is built on an area of 161 decares.
Within the scope of the project, a cafe, restaurant, buffet, toilet, prayer room and a parking lot with a capacity of 360 vehicles will be built in order to meet the needs of the citizens who come to the area for a picnic.
Entertainment and camping areas will be created
For the benefit of young people and sports fans, a 1500 square meter paint-filled playground, archery and shooting field, and basketball court will be built.
In the picnic area, a scouting camp of 5 thousand 500 square meters, a camping area and bungalow houses will be built.
Tender done
Metropolitan Municipality held the tender for "Devegeçidi Picnic Area Rehabilitation Arrangement Construction" with the participation of 4 companies.
The winning company will be announced after the bids are reviewed within the period determined in accordance with the legal regulations.
The teams will start construction work after the tender process.
