Mysterious City Afyonkarahisar will now be remembered for its tourism activities as well as its Gastronomy. A balloon festival was held in the 3-year-old Phrygian Valley as part of the Great Offensive and Victory Week events by the Afyonkarahisar Governorate.

PHRYGIA BALLOON FESTIVAL STARTED

Under the coordination of the Afyonkarahisar Governorate and the Municipality, the Phrygian Balloon Festival was held for the first time in order to increase the number of accommodation days and the variety of touristic products for visitors to the city. The 99th anniversary of the Great Victory was celebrated with a balloon flight in Phrygia. A balloon festival was held in Phrygia Emre Lake with 06.00 balloons between 09.00:20 and XNUMX in the morning with the cooperation of Afyonkarahisar Governorship and Municipality. After the flight preparations, the hot air balloon rising to the sky added color to the skies of the region. Specially shaped balloons also participated in the flight. In the flight, in which tens of balloons took off at the same time, the participants had the opportunity to see the Döğer – Emre Lake, Phrygian Valley, natural beauties and sunrise views from İhsaniye district from a bird's eye view.
