The General Directorate of Maritime Affairs of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, evacuated 3 citizens and 578 vehicles in 115 days in the Ayancık and Türkeli districts of Sinop, where the flood disaster occurred. In the statement made by the Ministry, it was stated that the wounds will be healed as soon as possible and the damages in transportation will be repaired quickly.

The Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure stated that all relevant institutions are mobilized to help the disaster victims due to the flood disaster in the Western Black Sea region, and noted that air and land aids continue uninterruptedly, and damage assessment studies continue at full speed.

In the evacuations carried out by the order of Transport and Infrastructure Minister Adil Karaismailoğlu; A total of 15 vehicles and 46 citizens were evacuated in 16 days, 53 vehicles on Sunday, August 17, 16 vehicles on Monday, August 3, and 115 vehicles on Tuesday, August 578 in Ayancık and Türkeli. In addition, it was stated that basic needs such as bread, fruit juice, water, pasta, biscuits, diapers, baby food and wet wipes were delivered to Sinop Ayancık by fishing vessels and trucks.

On the other hand, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu, who has been in the region since the first day of the flood disaster, met with the crew of the evacuation ship and citizens leaving the region to examine the works on site; He said that any damage to transportation will be repaired as soon as possible.
