Bilecik Deputy Selim Yağcı and Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Yücel Yılmaz gave information about the August 30 Victory Train project at the press conference held at Ankara Train Station.

In his statement in front of Atatürk Wagon, Yağcı stated that the journey will be made with young people and said, “During this journey, which will take 100 minutes, in order to draw attention to the 2023th anniversary of the Republic, we aim to provide historical moments to the youth by providing information on the spirit of the National Struggle.” said.
In the program, which will be hosted by Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality with the contributions of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, Dumlupınar University Alumni Association, the Union of Turkish City Councils, TCDD and TCDD Taşımacılık A.Ş. and the support of the Ministry of Interior, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk as the Commander-in-Chief of Kocatepe. The journey, which ends in Dumlupınar, will be revived by train.
