Trophy 2021 International Culture and Folk Dances Festival was Colorful

The traditional Ayvalık Garlic Trophy 22 International Culture and Folk Dance Festival, attended by 2021 teams from the Balkan countries, witnessed colorful scenes for two days. Citizens supported the festival with applause, which started with the march of 750 dancers from the Balkan countries on the streets of Sarimsakli.

Ayvalık Mayor Mesut Ergin, who has been supporting the festival, which was held for the 18th time this year, since his term as the Mayor of Küçükköy, said, “Folk dances are a very important tool for getting to know the cultures of the countries. We believe that too. We invite them here. We also know their culture. Thus, we show them our hospitality. This festival will continue every year. I would like to thank all the folk dance teams who presented their performances.”
