Eskişehir OIZ President Nadir Küpeli, Eskişehir Chamber of Industry (ESO) President Celalettin Kesikbaş, Eskişehir OIZ Deputy Chairman Metin Saraç and representatives of cluster member institutions attended the general assembly. Ramazan Yanar was re-elected as the chairman in the general assembly where current President Ramazan Yanar and Albayrak Makine General Manager Gürhan Albayrak competed.

Our city should have more say in this sector

Eskişehir OSB President Nadir Küpeli stated that they attach great importance to the rail systems sector and that everyone should act sensitively for this sector, which has a future. Expressing that Eskişehir should have a say in this field, President Küpeli said, “We attach great importance to rail systems, which is one of our critical sectors. As both the Chamber of Industry and the Organized Industrial Zone, we stand by our rail systems cluster. We know that our future will be shaped by rail systems. It is the desire of all of us that Eskişehir, which is at the intersection of the rails, will operate more in this sector. I believe that our clustering will be a stepping stone for us to realize these dreams of ours and will help us. For this, each of us has an important role to play," he said.

Let's be a force in the rail systems industry

ESO President Celalettin Kesikbaş, who took the floor at the general assembly, said that as a chamber, they care about clusters and are working to increase their numbers. Indicating that Eskişehir is a railroad city, Kesikbaş said, “We are a railroad city from 1894 to the present day. And this culture is in the DNA of this city. We should increase the number of companies that are currently in their 40s to 100. The management that works in harmony with Eskişehir OSB and our chamber and brings food and work here is very valuable for us. Rail Systems Cluster is a cluster that will serve Eskişehir's rail systems and develop the current vision. As a city, we are much more successful when we say we are not me. As Eskişehir, let's be a regional power in rail systems," he said.

We'll get our cluster back on track

Ramazan Yanar, who was re-elected to the presidency, said that Rail Systems should not be clustered; He stated that there is a cluster consisting of institutional members of the city such as ESO, Eskişehir OSB, 3 universities, ATAP A.Ş., ESTRAM, as well as representatives of the private sector who are experts in their fields. Yanar said, “The rich and qualified board of directors and members of our cluster have given us great inspiration in determining our goals and ensuring that our goals are within reach.” Yanar stated that they will set a vision again as a group in the new period, and that they will work seriously and put the cluster back on its tracks. Finally, Chairman Yanar said, "We promise to work until there is no company that does not export or deliver goods for export at the end of our term."
