TÜBİTAK Science High School, which set out with the aim of raising the bright minds of Turkey, begins its education life. The science high school, which will serve in the Gebze campus of TÜBİTAK, will host the science stars of the future.

Minister of Industry and Technology Mustafa Varank stated that students who fall in the 1 percentile in the High School Entrance Examination (LGS) can apply for TÜBİTAK Science High School until July 4th and said, “We invite all our students who want to be among the scientists of the future to TÜBİTAK Science High School. Trained human resources are the most important issue in the technological transformation process. In this sense, the potential of our young people is also very high. When given the opportunity and guided, they can do incredible things. For this reason, we are adding TÜBİTAK Science High School, where we will specially train the science and technology stars that our country needs, to our education infrastructure.

LEADING SCIENTISTS

Here, we aim to train leading scientists of the future, who will contribute to the development of our country with the production of knowledge and technology, think analytically, and have developed social and environmental awareness. Students who are in the 1st percentile in LGS can apply for our science high school entrance exam on July 2-4 through the e-School Management Information System. I invite all our students who want to be among the scientists of the future to apply to TÜBİTAK Science High School.

ESTABLISHED IN GEBZE

TÜBİTAK Science High School was established in the TÜBİTAK Gebze Campus, which includes the leading research centers and institutes of the R&D and technology world with its trained and qualified manpower and advanced laboratories.

DORMITORY FOR 600 STUDENTS

The high school, which has an area of ​​​​approximately 44 thousand square meters, has 24 classrooms equipped with modern technology, a dormitory with a capacity of 600 students, and 10 advanced basic science workshops.

28 DIFFERENT LESSONS

Education at the high school, where 2021 students will be admitted for the 2022-90 academic year, will last for a total of 5 years, one year of English preparation. In the high school, the curriculum with 28 different elective courses such as Biotechnology, Materials Science, Neuroscience, Data Analysis, Science, Technology and Social Change, Sustainable Food and Water Policies, Innovation-Oriented Project Design, Artificial Intelligence Applications, Human-Machine Interaction, Internet of Things Applications will be applied. .

FREE SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITY

Monthly scholarships will be given to students starting from the preparatory class. Students who have the opportunity to stay in the Gebze campus will use TÜBİTAK laboratories. EXAMS IN 24 PROVINCES

Applications for the TÜBİTAK Science High School Center Talent Entrance Exam will be made on the e-School Management Information System on July 2-4.
