The airline also announced that the iconic Emirates A380 aircraft will be used on flights to Mauritius from 1 August to meet market demand. Passengers with the full dose of vaccination can enjoy a comfortable and safe island-wide trip at hotels that have been pre-approved to be safe for COVID-19.
Emirates' flights to Mauritius will operate on Thursdays and Saturdays. Flights will be operated by Boeing 15-777ER aircraft from 300 July and Emirates A1 aircraft from 380 August. Emirates flight EK 701 will depart Dubai at 02:35 and arrive in Mauritius at 09:10 local time. The return flight will depart Mauritius on Friday and Sunday with flight EK 704 at 23:10 and arrive in Dubai at 05:45 local time the next day.
The airline will continue to increase its flights with the Emirates A380, which continues to be the favorite of passengers with its spacious and comfortable cabins, with the gradual revival of demand. The A380 is currently in use on Emirates' flights to New York JFK, Los Angeles, Washington DC, Toronto, Paris, Munich, Vienna, Frankfurt, Moscow, Amman, Cairo and Guangzhou.

Mauritius opens its doors to vaccinated passengers and Mauritian citizens from 15 July to 30 September 2021. Passengers who have completed their full dose of vaccination can enjoy a “hotel vacation” by choosing from a large list of approved safe hotels on the island. From 1 October, Mauritius will allow travelers who have completed their full dose to freely explore the island without any restrictions.
