Emirates offers non-stop connections to business and leisure passengers from all over the world with its first passenger flight between Dubai and Miami. The airline landed in Miami on July 22 at 11:00 local time, making the first of its scheduled four-weekly flights.

Emirates flight EK213 was greeted with water cannon at Miami International Airport, accompanied by a group of passengers, aviation enthusiasts and guests. While the airline made its maiden flight with the Boeing 777 Gamechanger, on the ground it introduced the aircraft's interior with popular First Class private suites. Inspired by the Mercedes-Benz S-Class, featuring floor-to-ceiling sliding doors and stylish design elements, each of the Emirates Gamechanger First Class suites offers up to 3,72 square meters of personal space and an ultra-modern design.

Emirates will continue its four-weekly flights to Miami on three-class Boeing 42-304ER aircraft, offering eight private suites in First Class, 777-bed seats in Business Class and 300 spacious seats in Economy Class.

These new flights to Miami, along with Orlando, offer an additional access point for flights to and from Florida. Operating more than 70 flights a week, Emirates' network in the US reaches 12 destinations, thus offering more options and easier connections to South Florida. It also connects travelers from Miami, South Florida, South America and the Caribbean via Dubai to more than 50 destinations in the Middle East, West Asia, Africa, Far East and Indian Ocean Islands.

To celebrate this new journey, Emirates has expanded its signature inflight service to include specially prepared non-alcoholic and alcoholic cocktails from its meal and beverage menu, and passengers in all classes can enjoy completing their meal with a delicious lime tart. In order to adapt the in-flight experience of the Miami flight to the environment, the ambient lighting on boarding and landing was adjusted to the red, white and blue colors of the USA. Passengers in all classes enjoyed a selection of 4500 channels on ice, the on-demand entertainment platform, including a Miami-inspired playlist, as well as Wi-Fi and Live TV.

This new flight will also add to the existing trade links provided by Emirates SkyCargo, Emirates' air freight division, which has been operating passenger flights to Miami since October 2020. Emirates offers cargo capacity to and from Miami, facilitating the export of perishable food products, electronics and other items, as well as e-commerce products. Emirates SkyCargo has also operated several charter flights in the past on Boeing 777 full-capacity cargo aircraft to transport champion horses to equestrian events around the world. Since 2019, Emirates SkyCargo has carried over 7700 tons of cargo to and from Miami.

With Miami included, Emirates now offers flights to 12 destinations in the US, including Boston, Chicago, New York (JFK and Newark), Houston, Dallas, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Washington DC and Orlando.

Flights to and from Miami will be operated four times a week on Emirates' three-class Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. Emirates flight EK213 will depart Dubai (DXB) at 03:10 and arrive in Miami (MIA) at 11:00, with return flight EK214 departing Miami at 21:10 the next day. It will land in Dubai at :19.
