The Metropolitan Municipality, which accelerated new road opening, multi-storey intersection and road widening works simultaneously at many points in the center and surrounding districts, pressed the button for a new project that will reduce the traffic density of Etimesgut district. The teams of the Department of Science Affairs have made 50 percent progress in the works on the connection road that will connect the Bağlıca Boulevard to the Ankara Ring Road.

Emphasizing that they continue to undertake projects that prioritize the transportation comfort and driving safety of the citizens, Yavaş also shared the end date of the connection road in his post:

“We are completing our Bağlıca Boulevard and Ring Road connection works on August 30, Victory Day. We will provide our citizens with a comfortable and safe transportation opportunity with 4 connecting branches and the roads we have increased the capacity of.”

With the completion of the connection road, the traffic directed to Dumlupınar Boulevard and 15 July Martyrs Boulevard in the direction of the city center from the Bağlıca region will breathe even more.

The teams of the Department of Science Affairs are working at full speed to complete the assembly production of the pre-stressed prefabricated beams of the ring road bridge.

At the intersection of Bağlıca Boulevard with the Ring Road, the construction of an underpass consisting of 4 departure and 4 arrival lanes continues in order to provide transportation between Bağlıca and Yapracık, while the production of 4 connecting branches and 2 clover branches in order to provide the highway connection from the Bağlıca-Yapracık road. to do.

Thanks to this arrangement, citizens living in the Bağlıca region will be able to participate in the Ankara Ring Road and have a second entry-exit opportunity from the Bağlıca region to both the city center and the outside of the city.
