Karşıyaka Municipality and State Theaters Opera and Ballet Employees Assistance Association (TOBAV) has carried out an important study for teachers. Karşıyaka 7 teachers in 25 kindergartens affiliated to the municipality received their certificates by receiving 6 weeks of basic art education with the cooperation of two institutions.
It was stated that the education, which was carried out with the aim of contributing to the development of the students, included elementary music and movement education, language elements, improvisation and group activities. It was also stated that thanks to this, teachers have more knowledge and experience about the creative process consisting of observation, imitation, experimentation, rhythmic, melodic and dance improvisations, which form an important basis for the mental and social development of children.

A certificate ceremony was held at the end of the training program. Giving certificates to teachers who have completed the training program Karşıyaka Mayor Cemil Tugay said: “Our country and our city need institutions like TOBAV. We will continue to do whatever we have to do. Hopefully better things will happen in the future. Our teachers here are very valuable people, people who try to do their jobs with self-sacrifice and faith. In this period, the information transferred to them with education will find a clear answer, and they will have very important transfers to our children. I would like to thank everyone who made this possible and TOBAV.”
