Mayor Hakan Koştu, who has brought together vision projects and Bergama since the day he took office, announced a new good news. Announcing the signing of a protocol for the Bergama New Stadium with the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Mayor Koştu said that the new stadium will be built next to the Football Academy Facility in the middle of Fevzipaşa and Atatürk Neighborhoods.
Explaining that they were very happy with the protocol made for the New Bergama Stadium after the Millet Bahçesi to be built in place of the stadium in the city, Mayor Hakan Koştu said, “Our new stadium will be built on the land next to the current academy facilities, which is one of the lands we transferred to the Ministry of Youth and Sports. Let those who criticize us during the transfer of the plot to the ministry for the old stadium site should see that we killed two birds with one stone. He is not going anywhere just because we handed over those lands and academy facilities to the ministry. As we will bring a National Garden to our city, we have also prepared the ground for new investments. We take care of our business, we work with love”.
25 MILLION TL. PROTOCOL FOR INVESTMENT IN SPORTS
Stating that the New Bergama Stadium will be built in accordance with international standards with its grass field, spectator tribunes, locker rooms and turf field, the President said, “Our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, our Deputy Chairman Hamza Dağ, Ak Parti İzmir, who contributed to the acquisition of the stadium in our district, said. YOUTH CENTER WITH GYM IN BERGAMA
Stating that a protocol was signed for the Youth Center together with the New Bergama Stadium, Mayor Hakan Koştu said, “We will bring a youth center to our district where our young people can do all kinds of sports, artistic and cultural activities in their hearts.”
ACADEMY FACILITIES SYNTHETIC GRASS SURFACE WILL BE RENEWED
The Academy Facilities, located in the middle of Fevzipaşa and Atatürk Neighborhoods, also cost 25 Million TL. Explaining that the synthetic turf surface will be renewed within the scope of the investment, Mayor Hakan Koştu said, “Wet floors, changing rooms will also be maintained and renovated in our Academy Facilities. Approximately 25 million TL for Bergama, including the maintenance and repairs of the New Bergama Stadium, Youth Center and Academy Facilities. We have received more investment,” he said.
