High Speed ​​​​Train Bursa Will Make a Great Contribution to the Development of Karacabey

Karacabey Mayor Ali Özkan held talks with the contractor company of Bandırma-Bursa-Yenişehir-Osmaneli High Standard Railway Line, which is one of the most important transportation projects of our country.

While the work on the high-speed train (YHT), which will make a great contribution to the city, continues at full speed, Karacabey Mayor Ali Özkan received information about the latest situation in the works during his meeting with the contractor company of the project, Kalyon İnşaat.

2 stops will be in Karacabey

Expressing that the section of the Bandırma-Bursa-Yenişehir-Osmaneli High Standard Railway Line from Bursa to Osmaneli is expected to be completed by 2023, Özkan reminded that the 2 stops of the train line will pass through Karacabey, adding that the project will lead to Karacabey in freight and passenger transportation. He said that it will provide transportation opportunities that are not available in many cities.

Karacabey, located at the junction of the Istanbul-Izmir highway; Emphasizing that it is in a very strategic location with the effect of factors such as being close to the ports, hosting the high-speed train, and being at a maximum distance of 2 hours to two important metropolises of our country, President Ali Özkan said, “The high-speed train projects that our state continues in line with the goal of knitting Turkey with iron nets are important. One of its legs is the Bandırma-Bursa-Yenişehir-Osmaneli High Standard Railway Line, which also includes our Karacabey. Work on this project continues at full speed. The second passenger stop of the train line, which will take place as a freight and passenger stop at TEKNOSAB, will be in Taşlık Mahallesi. Karacabey is located in a very strategic position with its geographical advantages. When all these investments are taken into account, I hope that Karacabey will have very good days.”

Public Information Meeting will be held

On the other hand, Chairman Özkan announced that the General Directorate of Infrastructure Investments (AYGM) will hold a 'Public Information Meeting' at TEKNOSAB on July 30 at 10.00:XNUMX, within the scope of environmental and social impact assessment and land acquisition processes.
