Martyr Halil Çelebi from Kırıkkale was bid farewell to his last journey

Infantry Specialist Sergeant Halil Çelebi, who was martyred as a result of the harassment fire opened by the separatist terrorist organization members in the Claw Operation region in the north of Iraq, was sent off to his last journey in his hometown Kırıkkale, in tears.

Kirikkale News – Infantry Specialist Sergeant Halil Çelebi (27) was martyred in the harassment fire with a machine gun opened by the separatist terrorist organization in the Operation Claw region in northern Iraq. After the ceremony held at Hakkari Mountain and Commando Brigade Command, Çelebi's body wrapped in the Turkish flag was sent off to his hometown Kırıkkale. The body of Çelebi, carried on the shoulders by his comrades, was brought to the Nur Mosque, where the ceremony would take place. His mother Hatun (48), father Vehbi (52), wife Ayşenur (25) and siblings Eren (18) and Erdem (16) Çelebi, who accepted their condolences, could not hold back their tears at the ceremony.

Çelebi's wife Ayşenur Çelebi, who got married last year, had a hard time standing. After the funeral prayer performed by the Provincial Mufti Hasan Hayri Yaşar at noon, the martyr Çelebi was buried in the family cemetery in the Kırİlk village of the Balıseyh district. To the funeral; Deputy Minister of National Defense Muhsin Dere, Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism Serdar Çam, Kırıkkale Governor Yunus Sezer, Mayor Mehmet Saygılı, Kırıkkale deputies, institution managers, district mayors, representatives of political parties and non-governmental organizations and many citizens attended.
