Bursa Metropolitan Municipality, which focuses on promotional activities so that Bursa can get a larger share of the tourism cake, has commissioned the 'GoBursa' project, which will showcase Bursa on digital platforms.
The “GoBursa” mobile application project was implemented in partnership with the Software Branch Directorate under the IT Department of the Metropolitan Municipality and the Tourism and Promotion Branch Directorate under the Foreign Relations Department. The application, which was prepared entirely using internal resources, was developed by the personnel of the Software Branch.

The content of the application, which targets the cultural and tourism elements in Bursa city center and its districts, was prepared by the Tourism and Promotion Branch Directorate. Within the scope of the application, there are over a thousand original content consisting of promotional articles, virtual tours, promotional videos, travel routes and original photographs. In the application, 22 different places in 543 different categories are introduced with 3963 different photos, there are 141 travel routes consisting of 14 different points, the application and the contents are served in 2 languages.
The “GoBursa” application aims to enable the residents of the city and the guests from outside the city to easily access the historical and cultural assets of the city, such as information, photos, voiceovers, videos, locations, virtual tours, live camera images. The “GoBursa” application aims to increase the quality of the time users spend in the city and to increase the awareness of all cultural heritages in Bursa. Thanks to the “GoBursa” application, users can also get information about events in the city. The application can be accessed from the App Store and Google Play platforms under the name GoBursa.
