The teams that Izmir Metropolitan Belediyespor will face in handball for the European Cup have been announced. Turkish Cup Champion Handball Men's Team matched with Czech team HCB Karvina in EHF European Cup, Women's Handball Team matched with Greek team AESH Pylea in the 2nd round of EHF European Cup. The first matches will be played on 16-17 October.
Izmir Metropolitan Belediyespor's rivals for the European Cup, which won the first Turkish Cup in men's handball history in Izmir, and won the right to participate in the European Cup on both fronts by playing the Turkish Cup final in women, have been determined. Turkish Cup Champion Handball Men's Team matched with Czech team HCB Karvina in EHF European Cup. The first legs will be played on October 16-17, the return leg will be held on October 23-24. The Women's Handball Team will compete in the 2nd round of the EHF European Cup and the Greek team will face AESH Pylea. Women's matches will be played on the same dates.
