Citizens experienced the excitement and joy of coming to the area where peace was established after being cleared of terrorism, within the scope of the festival organized with the contributions of the Governorship, municipality, Şırnak University and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, after 40 years.

After the march of the citizens accompanied by the arbane, the Quran and prayers were read. Connecting to the opening ceremony of the festival by phone, our Minister, Mr. Süleyman Soylu stated that a historical meeting took place in the region today and said that this was expected a lot.

Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu said, “I want you to know that the happiest here is our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. The rulers of the state want the country to be in peace 24 hours a day. What more could we ask for? Thank God, we are grateful to all of you. We are grateful and praying to our martyrs, veterans, administrators and everyone who appreciates this and prays for this country, our brotherhood and unity. We are happy to have you there, we are glad. Let many generations and children come, let Sefine become their homeland, and embrace each other in unity and solidarity at those festivals. God bless you. Şırnak is a city of peace, brotherhood and tolerance, and may it continue to be a city.' said.

Cudi Hosts Human History

The Governor of Şırnak, Ali Hamza Pehlivan, said that going to and holding an event in Judi affected everyone deeply.
“From the moment we landed on the field, I looked carefully and everyone's eyes were moist, emotional, and had a smile on their face. How happy God has given us today. Thank you. Cudi is home to human history.” Pehlivan said that Cudi is the oldest example of visiting and festival tradition.

Pehlivan continued his words as follows: “It embodies the exceptional memories of our Cudi hero Mehmetçik, our saint martyrs and veterans, and carries them to this day. Cudi is an exceptional place for human history. Unfortunately, in recent years, Cudi was a little bent and sad. Because the separatist terrorist organization set a barrier for our people, who have been keeping the tradition alive for centuries, from coming here. Thank God, our strong state continued its fight against terrorism with determination. Under the leadership of our President, our soldiers, gendarmes, security guards, and security guards put up an intense struggle. Security was and continues to be provided in Cudi and other areas. During this time, our state is developing security concepts. In order to ensure that this peace environment is permanent, roads and upper areas are being built. This concept was also applied on Mount Judi.”

After the speeches, balloons and pigeons were flown, and prayers were held in the area where the ship is believed to have run aground.

After the music concert presented by the Dengbejs, the ashura was served and the blessings were recited.
